Simple and stunning this lavender garland is a beautiful, fragrant addition to your home for the holidays or any season!

What you’ll need:

• Dried lavender buds
• Hemp, lace or ribbons (Whichever you prefer.)
• School glue
• 2 plastic cups
• Skewer
• 1-1 1/2 inch Styrofoam craft balls (You can buy them at most craft/ dollar stores.)

Step 1:Fill one plastic cup with glue and the other with your dried lavender buds.

Step 2: Push skewer through center of one of the Styrofoam balls, making sure it pokes through to the other side. Dip the ball into the wet glue, remove and allow all excess glue to drip off.

Step 3: Dip the glue covered ball into the dried lavender buds and coat completely, you may have to tilt the cup to do so. Gently remove the ball from skewer and allow to dry.

Step 4: After about a half hour of drying cup the ball in your hand and press the lavender firmly into the  glue- this is an important step as it will prevent the lavender from shedding once dry.

Step 5: After all of the lavender covered balls have dried completely, use the skewer holes to run the string of your choice through. (If your string is fine tie small not on either side of the holes to prevent the balls from sliding out of position.)

Step 6: Repeat step 5 until all of the balls are strung and hang!
