As we all know lavender is a “super- herb” when it comes to all of its different benefits. From use as a sleep aid, clearing skin of acne to cleaning surfaces and repelling insects, it appears to have a diverse, unending list of uses.

How to:
Treat dandruff and dry scalp: Lavender oil should be mixed with water, oatmeal, and rosemary oil. You will need ¼ cup of oatmeal, 5 drops of rosemary oil, and 7 drops of lavender oil. Soak the oatmeal in water for about 20 minutes, and then pour lavender and rosemary oils into the water as well. The mixture will create a paste which you can apply directly to scalp. Let the mixture treat your scalp for an hour before rinsing it off with warm water.
Promote hair growth: Mix lavender oil with rosemary oil, jojoba oil, and basil oil. The formula should contain 10 drops of lavender oil, 5 drops of basil oil, 10 drops of rosemary oil, and 4 oz. of jojoba oil. Mix them all and store the mixture in a dark bottle. You can use few drops of the mixture to massage your hair and scalp. Shake bottle before use.
